I stepped outside the ladies room and saw you leaning on the wall, talking on the phone with someone who apparently was responsible for the sexy grin on your face. It seemed you were talking to someone you liked but it wasn't me.

You looked nice in the light blue shirt and jeans; blue looks good on you but it doesn't feel good in me or was I feeling green with envy for whomever's voice was making you smile. Nonetheless, I passed you by pretending to be interested in the conversation I was having.

maybe if you would have gotten off the phone for me i might have given you another reason to smile ;) or so I thought to myself as I left you behind.

i love new york

new york is my kind of city. i enjoyed soaking in the energy, the people, the culture, the art and i'm fully equipped with attitude to fit right in ;) i think the only thing that gave me away as a tourist was my camera. if i had to move to another city it would be new york!

escape to new york

another little wish come true. i don't have any specific plans except for my date with kate at her play Guardians. friday night i hope to visit the empire state building for some romance and my chocolate fix at serendipity. and tons and tons of photographs to take.

later that night, 33 minutes to be exact, there was a knock at the door. i opened it and saw a bouquet of lillies --lillies mean, "i dare you to love me" -- and you were standing behind them. i like a good dare.
you took my hand and whisked me away. and the rest is herstory ;)
