Today would be Anais Nin's birthday. She is best known for her diaries,
which she began writing at age 11. I read her volume one and fell in love with her words, her observations. Now I am reading volume two. She is like the friend you wish you had. So full of life, of wisdom and such magic with words!

i got this cool camera as a christmas gift from mary. i went out with it sunday afternoon and took some photographs. i'm very excited to see how they turn out. the camera had caught my attention for it's old fashion look. it's cute and so light compared to my nikon!

Chicago is having a very white winter. It's fun to play in it but it's not so lovely to walk in the slush to work. I want to go tubing. I have never done that but it looks like so much fun. Hope you are warm and safe wherever this day finds you :)
