i had to share these beautiful photographs taken by my lovely and talented friend Mary P. they were taken recently from a road trip to the Grand Canyon. it's (cute) amazing how her eyes light up at the thought of going there or when she is reliving her trip. she loves visiting this place! she promises to take me one day and i can't wait!!
until then, i will live vicariously through her photographs.

I love those pictures; your friend is very talented.
The quote is great, too :).
Wow those are great photos. I'd love to go to the Grand Canyon some day.
Lovely photgraphs...your friend sure knows how to capture life and beauty of the nature.
Looks so much India.
an amazing location covered in a more amazing way!
Lorena: I took a chartered flight over the Grand Canyon years ago, but was so sick a friend grabbed the camera and took photos for me. Glad you were on the ground. Awesome!
these are mouth-watering. i feel like i was part of the trip. thanks for sharing these.Ü
also Pascal is amazing: are you agree?
Great shots, very enjoyable. The closet I've come to the Grand Canyon is in an airplane on a flight to Phoenix. Hopefully that changes soon, I would love so see it for myself.
Thanks for sharing... as usual!
I love that first quote and picture. Makes me think there is always something at the edge of my vision that I've missed.
These are great, fantastic images that I dream to visit.
These are so incredible! They give a sense of hugeness (is that a word?) and yet still show such detail.
Thats really something special.
Nature wins again! I'd like to visit this breath-taking place (but keep breathing). I went to a canyon in Drumheller, Alberta where they sold petrified dinosaur dung that had presumeably been excavated from the various layers of rock. The grand canyon also reminds me of Wiley Cayote because he was always falling off cliffs. Don't get too close to the edge!
Good pics. In the end, nature always wins.
They capture some mythic quality of the Canyon. Fine pictures. Hope you're having fun, Lo x
These photos are amazin, she is truly talented. I would love to go there one day and see it all for myself!
Lorena, where are you?
Breathtaking pictures.
If only every architect was like Frank Lloyd Wright...we'd all live in nice greenhouses ;)
loved the way you featured other photographer here

The centre of the earth is indeed beautiful :)

Dear Lady Lorena,
I have long admired you from afar. Thy photos here are goodly and tempestuous
Still more tempestuous, a vast pageantry of romance among several blogs is currently underway and will reach its climax late Monday or Tuesday morning.
Ladies and Gentlemen of good breeding, Vixens, and Tarts, are equally invited to attend.
A summary of events is provided on my most recent post.
Warmest regards,
