you will be missed

i was told of michael jackson's passing during my workout class in a casual way. i was shocked and sad and my reaction was, 'it was farrah who died' as if only one star per day can die. i was shocked. a death like this needs a more powerful, strong announcement.

he is gone and the world is sad to lose him so suddenly. he is a part of my childhood and i will forever be grateful for his talent.

he is immortal. his music, his moonwalk, his dance moves, his smile will live on in all of us fortunate to have appreciated his talent.

Michael Jackson RIP

"Another day has gone
I'm still all alone
How could this be
You're not here with me
You never said goodbye
Someone tell me why
Did you have to go
And leave my world so cold"

lyrics from "You are not alone"
