i ordered two coffees

"i'm calling from the diner
the diner on the corner
i ordered two coffees
one is for you
the cups are so close
the steam is rising in one stream
how are you"

* ani difranco * "the diner"

something to think about
from Pablo Neruda's "Book of Questions":

Where can you find a bell
that will ring in your dreams?

Why do leaves commit suicide
when they feel yellow?

And at whom does rice smile
with infinitely many white teeth?

Am I allowed to ask my book
whether it's true I wrote it?

--------------------- ---------------------
(my questions)

any answers? oh and what would you like to drink? my treat :)

Favorite drink? Milk. Yes, milk. OH yeah, Shirley Temples, too.

Wind chimes. They'll be chiming in the early morning hours to a sweet spring breeze. I'll think that I'm dreaming, dancing in a meadow, or my back to a willow tree, reading a good book. I'm really sleeping, hearing the wind's whispers, "Wake up, silly girl."

Did you buy that book too?

Lorena what's the treat for? I almost hopped on a plane to Chicago, hehe. Okay, a Caramel Macchiato will do for now.

"And at whom does rice smile

Everyone. They do it to seduce you into eating them.
(I tried. Lol.)

I know. Anyway, am always excited for a friday. Have a nice weekend. :)

I prefer mine with liquor, so I'm squeaking "Russian or Irish coffee, if you pretty please." Hee.

Thank you for the endearing whisper on my blog, Lorena. Such music for the float-bob-and-scud of my reverie-clouds. ^_^

the alarm bell on the clocks rings the end of my dreams. :)

because they would rather drop dead than be caught wearing yellow, not a fashionable colors for the discerning leavestas.

all those who eat it and it laughs in the cellulite

you are not allowed to ask that because if you did you will know that it was the book which wrote through you and not the other way round.

my cup of coffee would be a simple latte but with some caramel if you please

Hey not all pisceans are givers coz I know a few. Selfless generosity is a rarity. One of these days I will hop on a plane to chicago to steal your Neruda collection. Hehe. Thanks for posting his work.
