coffee break

i love that i have a friend who
shares my love for coffee
(pictured below)

and it's not really the coffee [tea, hot chocolate]
that we are there for, it's for the conversation,
the company, the moment.

ok, it's also for the coffee! :)

thank you for the times we've shared :)

in my culture, tea time and/or coffee, "la merienda" is such an integral part of the day...

when i'm away from the people i share my life with, i always tell them, "i miss the coffees:.)"

Here's a shot of bavarian cream for you. I like it in my coffee. No? You'll pass? Ok, no problem. After all, I'm not here to force new flavours on you, I just like to chat. It's nice to get away from Tim Horton's and go elsewhere for once. The coffee is so good! You have nice little shops here in Chicago. I'll be sure to come back.

There is so much more to coffee than just its taste. It is all that comes along with it. The conversations, the moments, the friendships. I shall have a coffee now!

Coffee chats have something very fresh, that no other conversation has. You're there for the coffee, for the friend's company, but you take everything so lightly...One of my favorite coffee breaks these days are the ones I have every two or three weeks with my mom especially because they don't happen that often.
